About Us

I'm Peter Covington, editor and founder of GrowthWater Press. I was a secondary teacher in English, Public Speaking, and Theatre for many years, and in many ways, I still think of myself as a teacher. The best moments of that job were when one of my students "got it" and saw the value or the new perspective that lay beyond the grammar or the archaic speech structure I was teaching them, or their character came to life in their mind or on stage. That was truly beautiful and valuable, and I founded GrowthWater as an extension of that desire to lead toward new perspectives and insights without dogmatism. Here, I want to offer the best of new perspectives in reading and encourage communities of discussion, because really the best teacher is one's self. I hope you'll take that journey with me.

Growth Water Press is a new publishing company dedicated to promoting unique perspectives and education  We currently are accepting no new authors but hope to in 2025 We offer Services, engagement and community as well as good reading material to start a discussion
