I was a secondary teacher in English, Public Speaking, and Theatre for many years, and in many ways, I still think of myself as a teacher. The best moments of that job <em>were<\/em> when one of my students \"got it\" and saw the value or the new perspective that lay beyond the grammar or the archaic speech structure I was teaching them, or their <em>character<\/em> came to life in their mind or on stage. That was <em>truly<\/em> beautiful and valuable, and I founded GrowthWater as an extension of that desire to lead toward new perspectives and insights without dogmatism. Here, I want to offer the best of new perspectives in reading and encourage communities of discussion, because really the <em>best<\/em> teacher is one's self.
