Cultivated for over 4,500 years, orange is one of the most popular, cultivated, and nutritious fruits in the world. Meadowfoam oil earns its fame from its nourishing, high antioxidant composition and its incredible stability. It contains over 98% long-chain fatty acids and has the rare and wonderful ability to extend the shelf life of other oils, allowing us to get the maximum benefit from every fresh ingredient it is paired with.

Meadowfoam oil is also a favorite of mine for its sustainability. The annual flowers are easy to grow and often used by farmers as a rotation crop, giving goodness back to the land that has been stripped by other harvests.

Similar in some aspects to jojoba oil, meadowfoam seed oil is slightly waxy and closely resembles human sebum. This special composition helps skin to form a barrier to lock in moisture and deliver nutrients deep into your epidermis.
